I used ‘A Place For Mom’ previously and they sent me to several places which either didn’t answer the door or had no idea I had a tour set up. And in some really bad areas no less. I found out, the person suggesting places for my father was out in Chicago. They knew absolutely nothing about Baltimore, MD. After asking for someone local, I got Joanne from ‘Assisted Living Locators’. She assured me that she would not send me to any assisted living home that she herself wouldn’t put a loved one in. I expected to have to try to find my way about town by myself again, but when we met, Joanne said, “Get in my car.” She drove me to 4 assisted living places herself! All were very clean places with wonderful staff. She even stopped at a coffee shop between stops and offered me coffee! She was there, every step of the way. She asked questions that I, in the moment, didn’t think of asking. Not only is she VERY professional, super knowledgeable, and on top of all that, she is a kind human being. (I can assure you, I did not know Joanne before meeting her last week. I now consider her a friend!)
